North Korea's Rocket Launch Trails South Korea's Election

South Korea is having a parliamentary election today, but what's back in the headline is North Korea. 29-year-old North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un commanded ahead of the South Korean voting of the fueling of a rocket that will put up a satellite. This is also in coincidence to the 100th birthday of North Korean family dynasty's first leader, Kim Il-Sung. North Korea agreed to not pursue any nuclear related developments just a few months ago in exchange for continued foreign aids like food supplies. Countries in agreement with it previously clearly do not see this satellite launch as a peaceful event like it has claimed. The challenging party in today's South Korean election is viewed as more liberal and pro-North Korea while the current ruling party is viewed as more conservative and anti-North Korea. The challenging coalition criticized the ruling bodies of failing to deliver the 7% growth it promised. Detroit Tigers Delmon Young arrested in NYC

Delmon Young Arrested: Tigers Slugger Faces Assault, Hate Crime Charges In New York, Detroit Tigers slugger Delmon Young was arrested very early this morning for allegedly assaulting a man outside of a New York City hotel, the New York Post reports. A NYPD spokesperson confirmed the arrest to the Detroit Free Press and indicated that Young faces a hate crime charge. "Basically, there was an incident at the hotel (and) some anti-Semitic remarks," Detective Joseph Cavitolo told the Detroit Free Press. Following a fourth straight loss to cap a frustrating 1-6 home stand, the Tigers traveled to New York City late Thursday night for a three-game series against the Yankees over the weekend. Less than 24 hours before the teams were set to begin a 2011 ALDS rematch, the Post reported that cops were called to a hotel in Midtown around 2:40 am after a allegedly intoxicated Young had pushed a man to the ground. NY1 reports that the intoxicated outfielder was taken to Roosevelt Hospital! before being deposited at the Midtown North precinct house.
